I got to sleep in a few hours later than usual, and it was everything I hoped it would be. We finally tracked down the anemometer height at DFW airport, which was way harder than it should have been. After that, all that was left was running simulations. Each run takes no more than ten seconds; the time-consuming part is saving every file and linking it to the Excel table with the outputs. I ended up working for four and a half hours and got all of my simulations done, except for the ones where a mixture of radionuclides is used. There are no explicit instructions on how to make your own mixtures in the HotSpot manual, so I guess I’ll have to figure it out myself.
