- Summary

Ø  Read Susan Boyle’s biography.

Ø  T assigns a few paragraphs to a pair of students, and Ss summarize what happened in each paragraph.

Ø  Speak to the class, what happened in each paragraph.

- Vocabulary

Ø  With a partner, fill in the blank in a passage about Ray Charles using vocabulary in Susan Boyle’s biography.

- Discussion

Ø  Why did Susan Boyle choose the song, “I dreamed a dream”?

Ø  With a partner, a S talk about his/her story related to the favorite song. As a listener, a S writes down past tenses he/she hear. Take a turn.
