"The trinity stitch square"
Ginette Belanger hails from St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada. She has this to say about her square:
I'm a French Canadian and I live in Montreal, Quebec. I was taught to knit in Catholic school when I was 10 years old. When I was 20, I learned English as a second language. I love your magazine and find it inspiring. I have been designing my knit garments for many years and it was a nice challenge to participate in your contest. I really enjoyed the experience of creating this afghan square.
I was inspired when I first started the Master Knitter's Program with the Canadian Knitting Guild. We had to design different patterns and that is when my creativity began to flow and I started to try new techniques. It was fun to knit this square and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did.
