Welcome!

I am a PhD student at University of Texas at Arlington, under the Electrical Engineering department. I am a part of VEL lab under Dr. Venkat Devarajan who is my mentor. I am also a Graduate Teaching Assistant in EE 4330:Basics of Telecommunication Systems and EE 3330: Probability, Statistics and Random Signals. My research interest include Deep Learning, CNN, Neural networks, Digital Communication Systems.

I worked as an IT Professional at Capgemini India Pvt Ltd as a developer for Swedbank and Express Scripts clients. I worked with Pega, which is a BPM tool for faster, reliable and customer oriented hassle free deliverable. I come from an Electronics and Communication background and I hence had decided, that after spending nearly five years in the IT sector, I want to go back to my study world and explore it. I always had a knack towards communication systems. I took up Electronics and Communication as a degree in under graduate level. I loved the practicals and the thought that you can understand each vital phenomena through experimentation. I became addicted to certain lab work and used to spend hours in the lab, even over the weekends, unfortunately all instruments were not functional. My favorite subjects from my under graduation were Advanced Communication, Digital Communication, VLSI and Antenna and Propagation.
