We are pleased to inform our membership that our local AIChE section is an Approved Sponsor of continuing Professional Competency activities for Professional Engineers licensed by the State of North Carolina.  The section received the designation as an Approved Sponsor in October 2006.   

As of 8-1-2013, Professional Engineers  have earned 266 Professional Development Hours by attending our AIChE section meetings.

Our AIChE Eastern NC Section is pleased to announce that Grifols will host us for a tour of their new North Fractionation Facility on Thursday, November 15th.  Grifols produces pharmaceutical therapies from blood plasma at this facility.

Note that substantial closed toe shoes are required for touring the Grifols facility.  In addition they request that you bring safety glasses and hard hats if you have them.
