This year, Hiram's A.I.B.S. chapter will be teaming up with other colleges in the fight against malaria. The Minus Malaria Initiative (MMI) is an exciting new organization founded by students at Swarthmore College.
Funded by the Pericles Grant, MMI is run by college students who are striving to control malaria through educational outreach and fundraising for insecticide treated bed-nets. 100% of the money raised by MMI is used to purchase nets, which are distributed throughout Uganda and Sierra Leone.
