Through my education and teaching experiences, I have developed the necessary knowledge and skills to uphold your school district's high educational standards.
Receiving my Master's of Arts in Art Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania has given me the knowledge required to develop creative minds and souls in your students.
My background as both an Art instructor and English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at Norwin School District has given me the rare opportunity to instruct multiple forms of art: the visual and literary arts. This well-rounded experience has allowed me to generate creative lessons that develop critical thinking skills within my students. It has also reinforced my skills to individually evaluate students' strengths and weaknesses, along with the ability to adapt lesson plans for a diverse population of learners. My students have strengthened my knowledge of the analytical process it takes to create works of art and effectively instruct the creation processes. I am so grateful to have had the amazing opportunity to observe, learn, and grow alongside amazing teachers.
When I am not teaching, I love spending my time creating personal works of art and connecting with local artists in the community. I also love spending time with my loving family and friends, playing board games, camping, hiking, kayaking, gardening, (any outdoor activity 😊).
