I have completed primary, secondary and higher secondary education from Ashugonj Power Station High School, Nasirabad Cllegiate School of Mymensingh and Dhaka Residential Model College respectively. Got my BSc and Masters from BUET. I have been teaching in the department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Dhaka, Bangladesh since 1997. In 2002 I received Asian Youth Fellowship and went to Malaysia and Japan for higher studies. I was also awarded by Center of Excellence (COE) program funded by Japanese Government. and worked with Toshiba's research team on robotics in Kawasaki Japan. I earned the Ph.D. degree in 2007 from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan and returned to my previous position as faculty member. The main areas of my research are Artificial IntelligeInce (AI), Computer Aided Process Planning, CAD/CAM. I have several research papers on localization and map building of mobile home robots.
