Ahmad Mohamad Mezher (ahmad.mezher [at] unb.ca) received the M.S. degree in signals and systems from the Central University of Las Villas, Santa Clara, Cuba, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in network engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 2016. Ahmad was a recipient of a FI-AGAUR fellowship from the Generalitat of Catalunya and the Social European Budget. Currently he holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship position with the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). His research interests include smart grid communications, vehicular ad hoc networks, data privacy, and machine learning.
