Welcome! AguiaJ is a free pedagogical environment for experimenting object-oriented programming in Java. The tool is based on Eclipse. The video on the left presents an overview of the main tool features.

AguiaJ started from an academic project in 2010 and is currently being used in introductory programming courses at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal). The tool was developed and is maintained by André L. Santos.
