The areca palm have to be climbed every year twice or thrice to do harvest and spraying operation. There is severe shortage of labour in arecanut climbing. Further, climbing the thin palm is also a risky job. There are many cases of accident occurring during climbing. The remote operated climber is a solution to the problem. It works in petrol engine and controlled by remote.

Litter management is an important activity in poultry farming. It is an operation that need to be done continuously for 40-day cycle. One labourer is needed for 5000 birds to do this operation. This machine will solve the problem in a greater level. Further, proper raking in poultry farms brings better sanitation. Proper sanitation prevents disease development. And if there is no disease, birds will gain better weight and farmers get better profit.

The new machine will carry a person of 100 kg smoothly in a coconut palm just like a person riding a bike. The machine works in a petrol engine fitted with automatic clutch. There will not be any battery unit. The weight of the machine will be around 20 kg. a prototype of the machine was tried and tested in arecanut. Remodifying it to coconut will serve a long term problem. Now a day’s people are not harvesting coconut in proper time. This result in severe yield reduction and increase of pest attack.
