Can you dig it?
Can you dig it? A phrase first used in the awesome cult classic "The Warriors". Cyrus - "You're standing right now with a nine delegates, from a hundred gangs and there's over a hundred more. That's 20,000 hardcore members, 40,000 counting affiliates and 20,000 more not organised but ready to fight. 60,000 soldiers! Now there ain't but 20,000 police in the whole town. Can you dig it? In other words, do you understand? JCB (formally J C Bamford Excavators Limited) is a global construction, demolition and agricultural equipment company headquartered in Rocester, United Kingdom. It is the world's third-largest construction equipment manufacturer. It produces over 300 types of machines, including diggers ("Backhoes"), excavators, tractors and diesel engines. It has 18 factories across Asia, Europe, North America and South America and its products are sold in over 150 countries. It is a family-owned company and was founded in 1945 by J. C. Bamford, after whom it is named. In the UK "JCB" is often used colloquially as a generic description for mechanical diggers and excavators and now appears in the Oxford English Dictionary, although it is still held as a trademark.

On May 25th, 2010, Eric Gibson of Zanesville, Ohio is a worker for Shelly & Sands general contracting. As part of Athens Beautification project, construction is going on in much of the city, including the site here on Ohio University’s bike path. Because of this project, construction blocks the end of the path, and Richland Avenue is also being worked on. Gibson is currently dropping a meter to get an exact location of the next dig. Their high tech GPS (operated by satellite) is accurate up to half an inch. This reconstruction is estimated to be complete within the next few weeks.
