Built by the North British Locomotive Co (Wks No 24232) she was delivered in September 1935 as No 2442, she was renumbered 1946 in March 1946 and 61946 in September 1948 withdrawn in June 1962 and scrapped at Doncaster the following month. Class 31 diesel 31439 arrives from the south under Bawtry Road bridge into Selby North Eastern Railway station with a Hull train of Mark 1 coaches. The central East Coast Main Line through tracks are still in location but disused and rusting. A rail crane and brake van sit in the Up yard while the Down yard & coal drop are closed being turned into a car park.
