Having YouTube aged accounts is a great way to give your video business a kick when it comes to ranking! Both Michael and I swear by them in our business because we’ve simply had such good success with them. We were able to acquire a limited number of these accounts beyond our needs and we want to make them available to you! These accounts are all between 5 and 10 years old. We’ve personally tested each account individually to ensure that we could go in and change the passwords and recovery emails. Add annotations or modify the descriptions of the video to place your own advertisemenets. I would like to share a few marketing secrets / techniques that can be used to take advantage of this program: A. Piggyback on the current subscribers of the account and post your own videos. Additionally, the account is far less likely to be banned since the account is aged and in good standing. You can also contact the video subscribers with information about your product. B. Add 'video annotations' to each video through YouTube with a URL or link to your site. C. Modify the descriptions of the video with your ad. D. Change the video title to include an ad for your site. E. Use the videos as a 'video response' to linkback to your own videos, which will allow you to 'piggyback' off the popularity of the videos on each account. What does this means? This means that if you register a new YT Account, and try to add a new channel strait away, it will ask a phone number to send a security code. With an established account you don’t need to do this, especially if you want to have several channels. - The “Authority and Age of the Account”, pass through, to the additional channels. What does this mean? Because they are old, we can achieve on average double the rankings, that if we were using new ones. Well, if you create a new channel from within this account, this newly created channel will also have the same ranking power than the original “Persona” Main Account. In principle you will have dozens of channels with the same ranking power than the original one. This has been tested. - They withstand more copy right claims and YouTube will not shut down your account right away. What does this mean? Sometimes people report one or more of your YT Videos as spammy or not complaint with YouTube Terms of Service. Some people do this with the right purpose in mind, but others simply don´t want competition and report your videos to try to shut you down. Sometimes, even the YouTube Crawler, does this because miss identifies the origin of the video content. Sometimes it does find spammy content, because, well people just spam. Over the Years we have found once a claim happens, YouTube does not shut down the aged account right away. In fact it may withhold 2 or 3 warnings before, limiting or shutting down your account completely. This is beneficial, in the case that you have time to download and safeguard your videos, and even reverse back the limitations caused by the penalty. - Some of our users have stated that are using his accounts to earn money from YouTube AdSense program have reported that they receive more revenue per 1000 views than from a newly created YouTube account. Also, now that YouTube only allow a YT channel to start showing ads when they reach at least 10.000 views, it makes even more sense to start new channels if you have one of this Aged ones. - They are completely safe. They have been created several Years ago. And the only way you can get your Accounts banned is only if you don’t follow the YouTube Guidelines. Even then this accounts will withhold some of the its. - Conclusion, this accounts are valuable, demand is high and there are not many around. Some of them I have register myself, others I got from people that didn’t need them anymore. I would be lying if say I wouldn´t mind to give them for free. I just sell a handful of them per month so people have little edge when starting a YouTube channel. Is not by any means a revolutionary thing. But it will certainly help you get more exposure, rankings and traffic, which is what we all YouTube marketers want. - Good for: o YouTubers o Local Business o SEO Experts o SEO Agencies o Video Marketers o Pay Per Call Lead Generation With Videos Features: Gmail & Youtube Natural & Real Accounts. Youtube Account (forgot the password)? by Andrea Ilgner 8/4/15 ADD A REPLY Please help: how do I regain access to my youtube account (ashotu) that I never had a gmail account for? The youtube account (ashotu) was created in September 2009. Youtube talks about accounts created prior to May 2009 as being "legacy" accounts. No matter whether my account was created before or after the specific month of May of the same year, I did not use a google account to sign into it. That being said, I have two questions: "How do I log back into my original account?" and "How do I gain access to my original account (ashotu) when I have forgotten the password to it, as well?" Please help, I beg you. The videos on that account I created for school and I would like to have access to them again because that is the only place left I have those video files. I also want to be able to add more video creations to that account. I may be blind, but I cannot find anything that helps me gain access to my account again, especially with having forgot the password. JDoors said: You are recovering a Google Account. The help page you found says [emphasis added]: "Some older YouTube channels are not part of a Google Account. This is only possible if the channel was created before May 2009 and you haven't signed in to it since 2011." It was not possible to create a YouTube Channel without linking it to a Google Account when yours was created. Whatever email address you used is very likely the Google Account "Username" (what Google calls the email address used to create a Google Account). You can try the Legacy Account recovery process, see below, but it WILL tell you that the account is not available to be claimed, and that will be because it already was linked to a Google Account, you can't use a Google Account to claim it now. The Legacy status is not relevant for recovery, you are recovering a Google Account. The Google Account recovery tools give you access to every recovery option that is available - you must find one you can successfully submit, or you cannot be given access to that account. So I created a YouTube account in like 2009 and I had access to it (the last time) on April of 2013. I don't know the password or the email that I used (and i am not sure that i have access to the email i put). Is there something I can do to get it back? I have the exact same issue - I made a YouTube account before youtube and Google were 'married' (2006ish) now I have no idea how to access those videos, that account. I went through a billion channels, trying to reset the password and such but the email associated with that YouTube account is also loooong gone and I didn't have a cell phone either. The best I could get was that they would reset the password but that would cost $1 - they charged the $1 as a deterrent. Well it worked on me - I wasn't going to give them any CC info because I thought it was fishy. But here I am a couple years later and I still have no access to that account and can't even call them without getting a voice system. Ugg - I swear I am going to pull a "michael moore" and fly there, walk up to the front desk and not budge until they give me a new password! +1 The Lady from UNCLE's profile photoTop Contributor 12/27/14 The Lady from UNCLE said: Your YouTube channel, regardless of whether you made it before May 2009 or after, is linked to a Google account and signing in is via a Google account (because the only way to access anything Google is to sign into its Google account). All Google accounts use email address usernames, without exception. These email addresses (where they are third party email addresses) do not have to be active at their end but they ARE still their Google account's usernames unless the owners update them. Google cannot and will not tell you what your Google account's email address username is because it is the one bit of information they require you to know to verify yourself. Otherwise anyone could claim to own a Google account and say that they forgot their account's username. Ergo- you will need to remember what email address your Google account uses and use this to access your Google account along with its Google password. Here is where to start jogging your memory: YouTube Sign In Troubleshooter. This ^ information applies to the other user as well (except if the other user has not used their YouTube since before 11th January 2011 and never linked it to a Google account in which case there IS no Google account to sign into yet and only the legacy sign in details will work here: www.youtube.com/gaia_link). Note that this link/legacy sign in will NOT work for you, the OP. YOUR YouTube channel IS linked to a Google account. +1 Help me God (Google)'s profile photoLevel 1 3/27/15 Help me God (Google) said: The Lady From UNCLE, hello. I also have a old (legacy ??) youtube account. Is it legacy that you have question marks? Can you verify its status? I know the user name, e-mail, but not the password. OK then you need to use the email address to make a Google account with and sign into that Google account and then only go to the Gaia link. If your YouTube IS still legacy you WILL be asked to claim it when you sign into that Google account. The third party email, whose name is the inactive g mail account is ALSO, the recovery email to my current gmail account What do you mean? A third party email address cannot be the "name" of an inactive Gmail Google account. If your YouTube's legacy email is the alternative email for another Google account you will need to remove it from that other Google account. so there must be an algorithm bug, when i try to get my password for the the third party account, it redirects me as if I'm looking for the password to my current g-mail account. But if that third party legacy email has been used as the alternative or recovery email for your other Google account then it is meant to help you accessing your other Google account. Meaning that it is working as intended. +1 Hoai Phuong Nguyen's profile photoLevel 1 5/29/15 Hoai Phuong Nguyen said: Hello The Lady from UNCLE, I have the same problem as above: had a legacy channel, last log in was in 2013. I have tried EVERY way possible to access this channel and had no success! 1) I tried calling google and staying on the phone waiting for 20+ hours many time and no one answered. I tried that 30+ times over the years. 2) I tried creating 50+ tickets, but google was unwilling to help at ALL in any of them. 3) I tried EVERY old password to link the old youtube account. 4) I tried "forgot your password" but it says it's not an e-mail address, DUH it's a legacy youtube account!!! 5) I tried EVERYTHING else from EVERY other forum here and from other places 6) I tried having all of my friends (100+) report all of the bad videos as offensive, privacy issues, copyright issues I beg you to somehow please help me resolve this HUGE issue in my life. I wasn't the one who uploaded these videos to my old account, my "friend" used to have access to my account and put crazy and horrible stuff as a joke, I think he even stole the account, but he won't admit it. Your friends cannot because, presumably, it is not their rights being infringed. +1 ThisUserOnce's profile photoLevel 2 8/24/14 ThisUserOnce said: On Sunday, August 24, 2014 2:10:37 PM UTC-7, The Lady from UNCLE wrote: > If your YouTube is still "legacy" (ie not linked to a Google account) sign into your Google account to be linked to and, with the legacy "username" (custom IRL) and legacy password, use: www.youtube.com/gaia_link > I have tried this many times. Let me back-track a bit. My Mac was stolen and I changed all my passwords, but noticed my youtube password didn't work. Not true. I am 100% sure I am using the last password I set it to. "Truth" is a subjective term. You might not believe it to be true but the system is telling you facts- you are using the wrong password for the YouTube "account" you believe (but cannot prove) is legacy (ie not linked), stolen and also hacked. I tried the right infringement forms too and multiple ways of flagging. Years ago my family lawyer also tried all of the above to try to help me out. Yes, you wrote as much. Unfortunately no one BUT you can use the flagging tools. Meaning- no third party can claim that the videos infringe their rights, because they don't and Google will not remove them for false-flagging. They will respond to you only and only if they don't agree with your reason for flagging and wont remove them or by removing them. You would be best to get your lawyer to use their legal means to initiate a take down of the channel legally. I wish they could just send a password reset e-mail to the e-mail account of the legacy youtube. You are assuming that the legacy email address is still the same email address it was before you lost control, just as you assume the legacy password is (and fact is- it is not). There is no legacy system under which to receive a legacy password reset email. You need to know your legacy sign in details, whatever you or someone else with access set them to at a time when it was still possible to set legacy sign in details (it has not been possible for over four years), and use these on the Gaia link. Then one of two things would happen and you would know if you are dealing with a legacy YouTube "account" which can be claimed or a Google account-linked one for which you will need to work out your Google account email address username. Unless you know that it was hacked and had dealt with it back then, would claiming it was hacked have made a difference. There is no way for you to prove an alleged hacking seven years after the fact. Particularly since it was possible to change and set a new legacy password under the old (legacy) YouTube system. I tried the password I know worked and I tried every other password I have ever had in my life. It is not enough to try every password you might have used but also to establish where you need to use it and with what (YouTube custom URL/username or Google account email address username). You would need to systematically test it with the YouTube custom URL on the Gaia link page AND with the Google account email address username on the Google account sign in page. It is an incredibly difficult task seven years down the line when you are not clear on the facts. So someone must have changed it or hacked it somehow. :( No need to keep repeating yourself. I understand what your belief is but I can only give you the facts, regardless of my opinion. If someone changed it then you must ask them what it is. If your YouTube channel was hacked you'd need to know when and you MIGHT get assistance if it had been linked to a Google account which you believe it was not. Ergo- you are plain out of any options whatsoever. Because of the length of time which has passed and your inability to categorically say if it was hacked or not. 1. This was 1 of my 3 youtube accounts back then. My friend uploaded horrible stuff using my laptop (using my login details) and I did not know or think to look at my account. But you did know and think to change its password and then forget said password? No one is making fun of you but you must appreciate how this looks. In your OP you state only that you "lost access" to the YouTube in 2007 and that you think your friend "stole" it. If that were the case then there is no hacking and you need to take this up with your "friend". End. Of. 2. My laptop was stolen. Is that relevant? You said you think your friend "stole" your access to your YouTube. 3. I tried to access the account a few weeks later and none of my passwords would work. So it did work after your friend "stole" your YouTube? it is legacy and not linked, I am sure of that I don't know if it was stolen or hacked. I know my password is not working. If it was "stolen" by your friend who wont admit it or hacked by someone who, for reasons unknown, knew how to hack your YouTube- how can you be sure that it is still in a legacy state? You can't. Ergo you cannot say that it is legacy non-linked, and being set in your belief that it is can only hinder you from making any headway. Yeah, I agree. I wish there was another way, because that's expensive. Oh well.. "Wishing" is easy done. Unfortunately your friend using your sign in info to upload videos to your YouTube was done with your sanction. They were not uploaded by a hacker who gained access by nefarious means or by someone who stole your laptop and got access to your YouTube because you were still signed in at the time. They are uploaded by someone you permitted access to and for whom you took full legal responsibility. arrg.. ? Do you work for Youtube? Can you help? If not, I am embarrassed to give out the channel URL. No, I work with Google/YouTube. I am an account access expert, ie a top contributor. By making a Google Account with the legacy email used by a legacy YouTube account you don't need to recover/reset the legacy password (which is anyway not possible as it is legacy)- you would sign in and use the red banner you get. If you don't see a red banner then one of two things is true: 1. that is not the legacy email, or- 2. that YouTube is no longer legacy (i.e. you've already linked it to a Google Account at some point). Test this- comment/subscribe to the YouTube and then check the Yahoo email to see if notifications are received to it. This is only possible if the channel was created before May 2009 and you haven't signed in to it since 2011. These are called legacy YouTube channels. To access these legacy channels, you'll need to link your channel to a Google Account. Sign in to the Google Account you'd like to link with your YouTube channel. Make sure this Google Account doesn't already have a YouTube channel connected to it. If you don't have a Google Account, it's easy to create one. After you sign in, enter youtube.com/gaia_link in your web browser. Enter your YouTube username and password in the box on the left and select Link these accounts. Now, you will use your Google Account email and password to access your YouTube channel. 23k Views · View Upvotes how can i get back my original (legacy) you tube account This answer was rated:★★★★★ how can i get back my original (legacy) you tube account??? Wow! I am glad that you were able to get back your legacy youtube account. Thank you for using JustAnswer. Best regards, Jess Ask Your Own Computer Question Connecting a Google Account to your older YouTube account Tuesday, July 13, 2010 Following YouTube’s acquisition by Google in 2006, new YouTube signups were given the choice between two different account systems to power their YouTube experience: the original YouTube account system (built in 2005) or the Google Account system. In May 2009, we started requiring all new YouTube usernames to be powered by Google Accounts. Now, we’re gradually asking all remaining pre-May 2009 users still using the older YouTube account system to connect a Google Account to their YouTube username. For now, it’s an optional step, but eventually it’ll be required in order to continue using your YouTube username. Before we go any further, we should clarify three important facts: YouTube usernames themselves aren’t going anywhere. No matter when you signed up for YouTube, or if you’re currently associated with a Google Account, you’ll still be “LifeOfTheParty29” (aka “your username”) on YouTube. A Google Account is not necessarily a Gmail account. You can create a Google Account with any email address through many different Google products, just like you can create a Twitter or Facebook account with any email address. Of course, you can choose to use Gmail as the email address for your Google Account. Connecting your existing YouTube username to an existing Google Account doesn’t start sharing your YouTube activity to your Buzz followers; it’s only an account connection behind the scenes, and it’s still up to you to decide whether or not to bring YouTube into the rest of your Google life. So what’s the point of asking people to connect a Google Account to their older YouTube account? Here are the main reasons: Improved account security. The Google Account system is robust and will help reduce spam across the site; users will get a slew of security and safety features that Google has spent the past decade developing. A single account system. This may not mean much to anyone outside of the YouTube engineering team, but behind the scenes it’s extremely complicated to support two different account systems. Having all users on the same account system not only simplifies matters, but more important, it makes it much easier to use Google technologies to keep the site running smoothly (over two billion views a day and counting), as well as introduce new functionality. If you have an older YouTube account and you’d like to link to a new or existing Google Account today, just visit this page and choose to link to an existing Google Account or a brand new one. This means that if you register a new YT Account, and try to add a new channel strait away, it will ask a phone number to send a security code. I am most certainly not using the wrong password. The only way is if someone hacked my old Mac (that was stolen) with the password saved or something back in 2007 and changed it. So someone must have changed it or hacked it. Only someone with access could have changed your password. By making a Google Account with the legacy email used by a legacy YouTube account you don't need to recover/reset the legacy password (which is anyway not possible as it is legacy)- you would sign in and use the red banner you get. If you don't see a red banner then one of two things is true: 1. that is not the legacy email, or- 2. that YouTube is no longer legacy (i.e. you've already linked it to a Google Account at some point). Test this- comment/subscribe to the YouTube and then check the Yahoo email to see if notifications are received to it. If not- it is almost certainly linked to a different email-using Google Account and you're looking to remember what one that is, using what email address. You can also visit our "Linked YouTube/Google Accounts" topic in the Help Center for more information on common questions and problems. And, as a reminder, if you’d like to review all of the services and data associated with your Google Account at a glance, visit the Google Privacy Dashboard.

NOTHING is working, I have been trying for years!!! by ThisUserOnce 8/24/14 ADD A REPLY I am in real trouble here. I had some mean "friends" make some "extra" videos on my account that have really landed me in a lot of trouble. I lost access to my youtube channel in 2007 (shortly after those videos were added) and now I am receiving death threats toward this channel. My face appears in many videos on my old channel (for my normal videos) and I am scared. I got fired from work and kicked out of school TWICE because of this youtube channel that use to be mine until it stopped accepting my password. The old one and the new one? Youtube accounts are tied up with Gmail accounts. It is a centralized online service like Hotmail.com with Live.com and msn.com. Do you have other gmail account where the old account could have been linked? If none, then your old account could have been updated to this new account. Keep me posted.
