Association of Food Technologists is an organization made to help food science students in all aspects of their college career. 


Our club objectives are: 

  • To foster a close relationship among the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition students and faculty at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. 
  • To present leadership opportunities to Food Science and Human Nutrition students. 
  • To make a connection between Food Science and Human Nutrition students and the food industry through guest speakers, company tours and internship opportunities.

We hold monthly meetings the first Tuesday of every month located in the Bevier Commons. Each meeting features a guest speaker or an activity.
