I have recently joined the Optimizer team at Teradata Labs. I have received a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Arlington under the supervision of Dr. Chengkai Li at Innovative Database and Information Systems Research (IDIR) Lab. My present research interests involve database and data mining with a focus on Pareto-optimality queries. In this regard, I develop algorithms along with software tools. I have publications in major conferences in database, data mining and information retrieval such as VLDB, ICDE, EDBT, and CIKM. My work won the Excellent Demonstration Award, VLDB 2014. I have completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. I worked as a Software Engineer in two leading firms in Bangladesh.
