I have received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington under the supervision of Dr. Chengkai Li in Innovative Data Intelligence Research (IDIR) Laboratory. We collaborated with Google Research and Duke University. My thesis is titled "Efficient evaluation of contextual and reverse Pareto-optimality queries". I have publications in major conferences in database, data mining and information retrieval such as VLDB, ICDE, EDBT, and CIKM. Apart from structured data, I worked on graph and text data. In this regard, I designed novel algorithms along with software tools. I have completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
Currently, as a member of the Query Optimizer team at Teradata Labs, I am conducting research and development of database query optimization.
