In My Garden
In My Garden
My garden in the waning days of October....I discovered the rusty lantern on my porch. It was probably something my husband found while trash picking. The chair was another find of hubbies. I don't know if you can see the mirror but that was something my parents were tossing out. I found it by the side of the road when I was decorating last year for Christmas and thought it would look great reflecting the lights. I decided to leave it there. It is just an ugly old bathroom mirror propped up against the porch. There is also a handmade shrine of the Guadalupe Virgin that my husband found somewhere but I don't think you can see it that well in this pic.

Group hug with Sue Whitney in Marty's Sunday House
Welcome to Texas! Marty's Sunday house has been featured in my flickr we all pile in for some fun with her husband, Budge, my sister-in-law Carol and my best friend Michelle (she's my neighbor to the east, Marty is my neighbor on the West -- how lucky am I)? The three of us (Marty, Michelle and Me) have all decorated our homes/cottages/studios/gardens with salvage, garage sale and thrift decor. We're kind of proud of that fact...not your usual suburbia!
