The Agbogbloshie E-dump in Ghana

Most people tend to think of Africa as either savannah or dense jungle full of green bush and threes. The growing urbanization causes an immense pressure on the biggest cities. And everyone needs an income. In the capital of Ghana, Accra young men and children are watching the big lorries unloading electronic waste originaing from huge containers being shipped from the west. The label says they are recyclable, but in reality, the toxic waste is burned right on the spot, and the children are moving around inhaling the black smoke.
