    neutral density
  • In photography and optics, a neutral density filter or ND filter can be a colorless (clear) or grey filter. An ideal neutral density filter reduces and/or modifies intensity of all wavelengths or colors of light equally, giving no changes in hue of color rendition.
  • Colorless filters that reduce the amount of light in controlled degrees. (Camera/Lighting)
  • Represents a measure of how dark the color is. The lightest possible value corresponds to a neutral density of 0.0 and is equivalent to pure white; while the value 3.294 is roughly equivalent to the sum of 100% of each of the CMYK inks and can be interpreted as Registration Color.
    graduated
  • (graduate) alumnus: a person who has received a degree from a school (high school or college or university)
  • Successfully complete an academic degree, course of training, or high school
  • Receive an academic degree from
  • Confer a degree or other academic qualification on
  • calibrated: marked with or divided into degrees; "a calibrated thermometer"
  • gradational: taking place by degrees
    filter
  • device that removes something from whatever passes through it
  • an electrical device that alters the frequency spectrum of signals passing through it
  • A device for suppressing electrical or sound waves of frequencies not required
  • remove by passing through a filter; "filter out the impurities"
  • A porous device for removing impurities or solid particles from a liquid or gas passed through it
  • A screen, plate, or layer of a substance that absorbs light or other radiation or selectively absorbs some of its components

Neutral Density filters evenly reduce the amount of light passing thru the lens without effecting color. Ideal for reducing bright light in large aperature situations when a narrow depth is field is needed. Allows for slower shutter speeds when blurring or showing of movement is desired. Allows balancing of exposure to highlight a key subject. Lets you use higher speed films in bright light. Tiffen Neutral Density filters are available in most sizes and in three strengths: .3 (2X) Which reduces the light by one f-stop. .6 (4X) Reduces the light two f-stops. .9 (8X) Reduces the light three f-stops.

Reduces the amount of light passing through the camera lens without changing the color of the scene. This filter is especially useful in bright light conditions. Allows proper exposure at a wider lens opening when reducing depth of field to highlight a key subject by making the foreground and/or the background out of focus. A slower shutter speed can be used to produce blurred motion effects.

How I Graduated From Bekeley In Two Years
INTRODUCTION I'm not a genius; I'm just a hard worker. In fact, by the second grade I couldn't read and needed to take special classes. They taught me how to sound out "sh" and "ch". The only reason I got good grades later on was because I made a choice to take control of my life. My good grades gave me the security that no matter what happened, I would be able to take care of myself. I didn't give a crap about college. I just needed a degree. Don't get me wrong; the University of California, Berkeley is an amazing school, but I had a plan for life after college and I didn't want to accumulate a massive amount of debt. That's why I wanted to graduate from UC Berkeley so quickly. Instead of wasting my time, I got to work, I worked hard and I worked smart. I said that if I wanted to get a real life, I needed to get the hell out of there. Most teachers told me it would be impossible to finish in two years, but I beat the public school system. This is how I did it... Visit www.BerkeleyInTwoYears.com for more info!
