Associate professor of Philosophy and Logic at the University of Brasília. My research focuses on 1) Non-Classical Logics and Metaphysics, and 2) the Fermi paradox, SETI, Big History, Futures Studies and the Philosophy of Technology.  

I have been a visiting scholar at the Department of Philosophy of the City University of New York, an associate researcher at the Centre for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science at the State University of Campinas and a guest researcher at the Düsseldorf Center for Logic and Philosophy of Science at the Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf.  

I studied  Philosophy (Federal University of Goiás, State University of Campinas), Law (Catholic University of Goiás), and Mathematics (Mackenzie Presbyterian University). During my PhD (Philosophy/Logic) at the University of Neuchâtel, I conducted research stays at the University of Amsterdam (Faculty of Science, Mathematics and Computer Science), the Technical University of Lisbon (Department of Mathematics), and the École Normale Supérieure (Paris) (Laboratoire Pensée des Sciences).
