Australasian Economic Theory Workshop 2018

The 36th Australasian Economic Theory Workshop (AETW 2018) on 8-9 February, 2018 is hosted by the Australian National University. The venue is the HW Arndt Building at 25a Kingsley St in Canberra, Australia.

Submission of papers in all areas of economic theory is invited. The range of research presented in the 2017 workshop can be seen on the AETW 2017 website. AETW 2018 will include similar topics. Please submit papers by 17:00 AEST on 24 November, 2017 to Early career researchers, including PhD students, are especially encouraged to participate. Each person may submit and present only one paper, but may be the co-author of several submissions.

Acceptance decisions will be sent by 22 December, 2017. For overseas participants, visa invitation letters will be provided for presenters of accepted papers upon request. Please email after acceptance to request the letter.

Each accepted paper will have a discussant. Each speaker is expected to discuss another participant's paper, if requested to do so by the Program Committee. In previous years, almost all presenters have received a paper to discuss. The discussed paper need not be related to the discussant's research.

The Australasian Economic Theory Workshop is an annual meeting of economic theorists in the Australasian region. The workshop traditionally provides a forum to present and discuss research in economic theory, and to foster collaborations.
