Mentoring Opportunities for Scholars of Color

Please see below the announcement and solicitation for the 2010 Research-Mentoring Program and Reception, sponsored by the Committee on Scholars of Color in Education, to be held during the 2010 Annual Meeting on Monday, May 2, 6:15-8:15pm at the Hyatt Regency, Denver / Capitol Ballroom 4.  Any interested EARLY CAREER scholars of color are encouraged to apply to participate in this event and benefit from meeting and connecting with senior scholars around research and professional development.

Also, any SENIOR scholars willing to attend this event, meet with early career scholars with complementary research interests, and share your insights with them should respond to mentoring@aera.net or tchavous@umich.eduIn addition, several other AERA Annual Meeting sessions sponsored by CSCE that may be interest to members are noted.  We encourage you to attend these events!
