A Little Introduction

I'm Alison McAusland, a specialist tutor in saxophone and clarinet.

My aim is to allow people from all walks of life to experience the power of music making, no matter their age.

With me, you can:

Start your musical journey from 4 years of age by using the Nuvo range of instruments. Instrument hire and starter packs available to get you started.
Take one-to-one Saxophone and Clarinet tuition for players of all ages and abilities.
Study towards music grades (ABRSM) on Clarinet and Saxophone, or learn simply for pleasure.
Experience group music sessions in schools or through private tuition groups at regular intervals, improving access to music and ensemble playing.
Play in concerts and other events organised through the year.

I teach students from my studio at home in Tamworth, Staffordshire. I have been a qualified teacher (PGCE 2007) for ten years working in schools, and I have worked with many people new to music.
