  • Participants can identify at least two weaknesses of current grading practices

 10:10 - 11:00  Session 2: "What does standards-based grading look like in a classroom?"
  • Participants can identify at least two tenets of standards-based grading
  • Participants can transform an assessment into one that can be used in a standards-based grading classroom.  
 11:10 - 11:30   Session 3: "How do I report student learning in a standards-based grading system?"
  • Participants will be able to score student responses holistically.
  • Participants will be able to formulate a plan for reporting student learning in a student information system.
 11:30 - 12:00 Session 4: Extended Q&A and Evaluation
