Why You Should Join this Club

The Adventure Club is for men and boys of school age and up who enjoy unusual and exciting activity, especially the exploration of unknown territory. Currently scheduled events include knot tying lessons, day hikes, overnight campouts and other preparation for wilderness survival.

As a member, you will learn how to make and use your own camp stove, backpack, and tent before going out into the woodlands. Weekly meetings will prepare each member for exciting outings of hiking, camping, and swimming.

Faithful attendance to each meeting is required to qualify for membership and approval to attend outings. Arrangements may be made for a private make-up session if a member needs to be excused from attending a meeting. Upon approval of the leadership, members may invite guests to attend an outing for which the guest would not otherwise qualify to attend.

There are no dues or other charges required for membership and participation in the Adventure Club. There may be some small costs involved for each member from time to time, but we primarily operate on the free-will offerings of those who care.
