Adrià Rofes, PhD
I am currently lecturing at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Before that, I was at the Department of Cognitive Science in Johns Hopkins University, USA and at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, under the auspices of an Atlantic Fellowship at the Global Brain Health InstituteI hold a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience (IDEALAB, Trento, Italy - Groningen, Netherlands - Macquarie, Australia), a MSc in Clinical Linguistics (EMCL, Groningen - Netherlands, Potsdam - Germany) and BAs in Catalan and English Philology (Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain). I am an active member of the Collaboration of Aphasia trialists (COST project) and the European Low Grade Glioma Network. I have reviewed for Aphasiology, Clinical linguistics & Phonetics, Cognitive Neuropsychology, Contemporary LinguisticsJournal of Neuro-OncologyNeurocase, NeuroImage: Clinical, Neuropsychologia, Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine and I contribute to science journalism in mappingignorance.org

I work to enhance our understanding of brain-behavior relations and to apply this knowledge to improve assessment and treatment protocols for brain conditions leading to aphasia.
