I know when I got married,  my husband and I really struggled to find a celebrant that we could identify with.  And it wasn't until we got down to the nitty-gritty that we realised how important it was to have someone represent us and our day, the way we wanted.

Your ceremony is probably the most important part of your wedding day (along with the dress!) and essential to get right.  Choosing your celebrant is important as they are the first person to speak to your guests and they can set the tone for the entire day.

If you're planning on writing your own wedding vows or a more traditional wedding ceremony, the exchange of vows can be one of the most memorable moments. Whether you choose romantic vows, humorous vows or ones with religious significance,  the words should be ones which reflect you both as individuals and as a couple.

My job is to help guide you through the planning of your ceremony, showing you the options available and then delivering the ceremony on the day.

The Wedding Ceremony Process
Your special day can be as simple or as involved as you like
depending on the significance you place on the wording
and structure of your ceremony.

Firstly, we have a free consultation to talk through your options, find out what it is that you wish to achieve and whether we would enjoy working together.

I will provide you with a file of information  so that you can have a chat about the options in the comfort of your own home.

Then when your booking form is completed, dates confirmed and deposit received, I will write up your draft ceremony for you both to check and edit
. Next we add in any readings or rituals that can make your ceremony more interesting and involved for family and friends. We might also take a look at your vows - depending on what you would like to say to each other, whether it's writing your vows for you, smoothing out what you have written or helping you through your writers block,
I'm here to help.

Once you have made sure that I have got it absolutely perfect for what you both wanted, then we just need to book in a rehearsal time and make sure you have applied for your marriage license.  And that's it! Then you just have to sit back and enjoy your day.
