Hi, my name is Adrian Tetlow and I am a lecturer at The Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin New Zealand. I have been with the Polytechnic for just over two years and am really enjoying it. My role here is teaching 3D CAD and Manual Draughting. Before moving to the Polytechnic I was a Design Engineer with Scott Technology. I had been with Scott Technology for 20 years, starting as an apprentice and enjoying a range of varied oppourtunities throughout my time there.
This blog is based around the Flexible Learning course I am currently studying as part of the Teaching Certificate I hope to gain by the end of this year. Over the next few months I will be exploring, researching and sharing my thoughts on the idea of applying a Flexible Learning approach to some of the classes that I teach. I am excited to discover how I might be able to provide a more engaging and ultimately successful stratagy to my teaching.
