me

Welcome to my website!

I am a quantitative social scientist who is passionate about understanding people's behavior and preferences using statistical methods.  I hold a PhD in political science and focus on producing reliable, creative and accurate measurements of social and behavioral problems and the dynamics within them. In my approach to answering tough questions using all sizes of data, I strive to strike a balance between technological innovation, meaningful insight, and scientific rigor. I am especially enthusiastic about Bayesian statistical modeling. As a consequence, my work involves handling large amounts of data and plenty of computational estimation using Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods and programming in statistical languages like R.
