About Library

The Library of Arunodaya Dnyan Prasarak Mandal's , Women's College of Arts, Commerce and Home Science is an essential component of the institution’s mission. The devoted Library Management, commitment of talented Library staff and the support of parent management make the Library a most lively place on the campus which provides friendly atmosphere that enables learning process and advancement of knowledge. It extends research and publication assistance and facilities for undergraduate and Ph.D. Research Scholars. The Library is well equipped with precious books, textbooks, reference books, encyclopedias, periodicals and journals. It gives free access to the students, ex-students, researchers, faculty members, staff and visitors. The library arranges book exhibitions regularly, and displays new arrivals (books, journals & Periodicals, news paper clipping)

Vision

The library shall strive to serve as a Knowledge and Information centre of the College and to help rural students to enrich their knowledge to create better world for themselves.

Mission

The Library serves as a resource centre and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of books and journals useful for students and faculty for efficient dissemination of Knowledge and Information

To provide information sources necessary for teaching learning process in the subjects, fields of interest to college.
To acquire, organize and update the library collection to support teaching- learning process.
To assist the teachers to be abreast of the latest developments in their area of specialization.
To supplement the instructions imparted in the class.
To help the students in their personal growth and to sharpen their intellectual curiosity.

To develop & maintain reading habits among the students.
To empower the women by providing knowledge beyond their reach
To provide a reader friendly atmosphere.
