The Nelson Monument on Calton Hill, Edinburgh was built between 1807 and 1816 to commemorate Admiral Horatio Nelson who died at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. I took this picture during a ten minute window when the sun sets and creates a bluish tinge to the sky. Earlier during the day I went up the Monument and took panoramic pictures of Edinburgh....
