Machine Sewn Pancake Pouch
This is one of the first pancake pouch that I made using a sewing machine to do the stitches. The start and stop back stitch is still done by hand thought. The leather is chrome tanned black and it's the same leather used for my steering wheel. The sewing maching is an old singer 28K made in 1912!! Works perfectly. The top left photo shows the front side which is also the top side when sewing. The bottom left photo is the back side and you can see the stitches doesn't lie straight. Done by the machine and can't be helped.
Sewed: Leather Shoes
I decided to start trying my hand at sewing leather shoes for Cash. I bought a leather purse at the thrift store for $1 and used denim thread and a leather needle for my sewing machine. After much tweaking, I came up with a shoe I liked. The leather is pretty thick, so I can't get much bunching on the ankle to keep them on better. I'm working on more samples until I get a solid pattern. Better photos to come.
