I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the College of the Holy Cross. I previously taught at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), before which I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Africana Research Center at Penn State University. I received my PhD in Political Science from Northwestern University. I study Comparative Politics with regional specializations in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. My substantive interests include the study of political and sexual violence, political parties, ethnic politics, and social movements and contentious politics.
