PhD Projects: Temperature-dependent toxicities of chemicals to marine ectotherms

(Sept, 2009 – Aug, 2013, University of Hong Kong)

l         Temperature-dependent physiological responses of the marine medaka Oryzias melastigma

l         Temperature-dependent toxicities of DDT and copper to the marine medaka Oryzias melastigma

l         Verification of the temperature-dependent toxicity (TDT) model

l         Mechanistic study on of the TDT profile by examining various relevant physiological and biochemical parameters in the test organisms

l         Comparison of the TDT profiles between temperate (Korea) and tropical (Hong Kong) populations of the two test species

 

Master Projects: Aquatic ecotoxicology in freshwater environment in China
