I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Western Washington University. My research focuses on labor and the economics of education. I have a number of current projects that include best practices for economic and financial literacy, the effect of mentors on college access, and explaining declining social interaction in college.
I am also the director of the WWU Center for Economic & Financial Education (CEFE).
