General Description

House of Sallust Reg VI, Ins 2 is limited to the north by the northern edge of Regio VI. It is bounded to the east by the Vico di Modesto and to the west by the Vico di Narcisso.

The insula contains a mix of domestic and commercial properties with shops concentrated near to the junction of the Vico di Narcisso with the Via Consolare. Of the houses in the insula, the House of Sallust is the best preserved and is examined here in more detail.
