Reg VI, Ins 12 lies along the southern boundary of Regio VI
as delineated by the Via della Fortuna. To the north it is bound by the
Vico di Mercurio, to the east by the Vico del Labirinto and to the west
by the Vico del Fauno.
The insula contains a few shops, but to all intents and purposes it is occupied by one large property, the House of the Faun.
This house is one of the most wall known private dwellings in Pompeii
and contains all the features common to all Pompeii's other
Plan of the Insula..
