General Description

House of the Bronze Bull House of the Epigrams House of L. Caecilius Jucundus Reg V, Ins 1 lies in the south west corner of Regio V, at the junction of the Via di Nola and the Via del Vesuvio. The insula is the subject of The Swedish Pompeii Project, initiated by the Swedish Institute in Rome.

The insula contains a mix of domestic and commercial properties, as can be seen from the detailed list below. Three large properties, the House of the Bull, the House of the Epigrams and the House of L. Caecilius Jucundus occupy the bulk of the insula.
