Reg IX, Ins 8 lies along the northern boundary of Regio IX on the Via di Nola, immediately east of the Vico del Centenario.
northern side of the insula, along the Via di Nola, is lined with
shops. Although the southern part of the insula has yet to be
excavated, it is clear that the majority of the block is occupied by
domestic properties, of which the House of the Centennial, first excavated during the 18th centennial of the AD79 eruption, is by far the largest and is featured here.
