General Description

House of C. Julius Polybius Reg IX, Ins 13 lies in the south east corner of Regio IX on the north side of the Via dell'Abbondanza.

Very little of the insula has been excavated so far, but, again, like its neighbour, Insula 12, the properties have well preserved facades. The largest of the houses excavated is the House of C. Julius Polybius, a double atrium house dating from the second century BC. Because of the limited excavation, it is not possible to complete the table below.
