General Description


Thermopolium of Vetutius Placidus House of the Four Styles Reg I, Ins 8 lies to the south of the Via dell'Abbondanza and to the north of the Via di Castricio approximately midway along the length of Regio I.

The insula contains a mix of commercial and domestic properties as can be seen from the detailed list below. The frontage along the Via dell'Abbondanza consists mostly of shops and bars while the south and west sides contain several industrial premises. The Thermopolium of
Vetutius Placidus is of particluar note and well worth a visit.
