Reg I, Ins 11

General Description

House of Venus in a Bikini House of the First Floor Reg I, Ins 11 lies on the south side of the
Via dell' Abbondanza and is bounded by the Vicolo della Nave Europa to the east. The insula has sustained considerable damage in the past and many of the properties are in a semi-ruinous condition.

The insula is a mixed development with commercial and domestic properties sharing the block. The most interesting building is the House of Venus in a Bikini, a small but reasonably well preserved property which is discussed here in some detail.
