Bronze and Marble Sculptures

The table below lists the location where each sculpture was found together with a short title or description, the catalogue number as allocated by the National Archaeological Museum in Naples, the reference number on Weber's plan as updated by De Petra and the date and exact place of the discovery. The sculptures are of bronze unless stated otherwise. You may view selected sculptures by clicking the button next to its description.

Note: The numbers on Weber's plan referred to in the table are marked on the three sections of his map included here. Plan (1) shows the location of the finds west of the garden, Plan (2) those in the garden and Plan (3) the finds in the atrium, tablinum and 2nd peristyle. Clicking on the position description in the table will take you straight to the appropriate plan.
