Cork Floor Underlayment
- A layer between a subfloor and a finished floor that facilitates leveling and adhesion

- (Underlayments) Asphalt based rolled materials designed to be installed under main roofing material to serve as added protection.
- (Cork Floors) Cork comes from the bark of the cork oak tree. The bark is ground into small pieces, mixed with resin, then pressed into sheets. These sheets are applied to the floor like linoleum. It is sensitive to many chemicals. \
Subfloor / underlayment for laminates
We (well I insisted, the wife protested to no avail) put in a subfloor on top of the concrete.. We used these modular Dricore thingies so they just snap together like square puzzle pieces. On top we put the underlayment in preparation for the laminate flooring. Oh yeah the walls and ceiling are primed.
