General Information
Attendance is limited and targeted toward qualified early and mid career investigators in the rehabilitation sciences.  Persons interested in attending should download and complete the conference application form (attached below) as soon as possible. There is a nominal ($155) fee payable at the time of registration to offset the cost of lunches and refreshments and to guarantee a seat. Registration will not be complete until this non-refundable registration fee is received. Continuing education certificates with CEU's  will be issued to those attending. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation and accommodation expenses. A block of rooms will be reserved at special rates at the conference hotel. Additional information about the specific event location will be forthcoming.

Who should attend?
The conference is targeted toward early and mid-career investigators in the rehabilitation fields of occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech and language pathology who wish to sharpen their skills in planning, funding and conducting clinical research. The aim is to stimulate research on treatment interventions, with emphasis on  projects that address questions related to efficacy or comparative effectiveness.

Registration Criteria
In providing funding for the conference, AHRQ expects that attendees will have a high probability of conducting and reporting intervention research. Registration acceptance was based on applicant's conformance with application criteria:
(1) Currently hold an earned doctorate from an accredited university.
(2) Are within 20 years of receiving their doctoral degree.
(3) Are affiliated in an official capacity (full-time, part-time, adjunct) with a facility (university, college, institute, or health care/delivery facility)  at which funded research is currently being undertaken.
(4) Have an established relationship with a mentor who currently is conducting funded research. 
(5) Plan to design or conduct a clinical trial or outcome study within the next 1-3 years.
