Nursery, Children's Chapel and Junior Chapel

All of our teaching volunteers and youth workers have had recent background checks.  Acton Congregational Church is a joyful, safe place to learn and grow in God's Word.

The Nursery accommodates children from the age of 6 months to 5 years old.  We use a wonderful curriculum that includes active play, music and rhyme, art and video.  Both of our nursery attendants have completed a babysitters' certification program and have certificates in basic First Aid, CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver.

Children's Chapel is fashioned for first grade to third graders.  Youth in the Children's Chapel participate in a wonderfully uplifting worship experience that culminates in a craft or creative project.  Every so often, we enjoy learning scripture in the great outdoors as we hike the trails of Acton, build fairy houses in the woods, or sled together!

Every year, on Super Bowl Sunday, we create a wonderful outreach opportunity with a  'Souper Bowl Sledding Party'! Community members donate soup items for the Acton Food Pantry as we enjoy sledding, hot chocolate and fun on Holdsworth Hill!!

Junior Chapel serves the youth of our church in grades 4 through 8.  Using a video series entitled, "What's in the Bible?", students will learn important components of the bible that will equip them with the tools they need to engage in Christian education and worship as they apply what they learn to their every day life.

Twice a year, youth of all ages participate in a Lenten and Advent Pageant complete with costumes, script and musical presentations!
