Welcome! Please click on the links at the top of our page to look around and get a feel for our church. Feel free to share any comments or questions that might be on your mind through our online guest book. If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to our Sunday worship service at 10:00am.

We hope you and your family will have a warm and spirit-filled experience with us as we worship and fellowship together at our services, events, and ministries.

We'd also like to invite you to make an online prayer request. Your prayer request opens the door, and God is waiting patiently on the other side of that door, at all times, in all situations, to join with you.

Many blessings to you,

The Reverend AbbyLynn Haskell

All interested in learning about joining our church are invited to an informal 'get-to-know-us' gathering in the parking lot with masks following worship. You are also most welcome to attend virtually just let Pastor Abby know.

Our New Member Reception will take place during the worship on April 25.

BRUNCH BUNCH (minus the community goodies, for now)!!! Are you immunized and interested in safely gathering for a bible study? Meet us in the church parking lot with your lawn chair, bible, snack and drink for an awesome time of community. Join Terry Minihan in a cheerful, lively discussion Tuesday mornings at 10:00 from May 4th-June 8th.

In this six-session Bible study is based upon the teachings of bestselling author and pastor Andy Stanley. We will discuss Jesus' invitation to relationship. And it began with a simple request…”Follow me”. Join this informational and transformational journey as we trace Jesus' teaching on what it means to follow and prepare to see your faith radically changed.

Last year for Lent, Rev. Melissa set up a canvas on an easel in front of the sanctuary along with a bowl of damp ashes and a brush. She invited us to go up front and make some brush marks on the white canvas of anything that inspired us. You covered it with abstract brush marks.

This year, Maxine Crouch used our '2020 ashes' and created beauty from ashes! The canvas was unveiled on Easter morning.

Once the church is reopened, we know you will enjoy Maxine's artwork, in person!

Maxine Crouch is organizing a craft fair to be held from 9:00-2:00 on July 3rd at Friendship Park in Acton (across the street from 259 Sam Page Road). All crafts should be home made. If you're an interested crafter, please mail your $25 check to the Acton Congregational Church, PO Box 28, Acton, ME 04001. All checks should be made out to the Women's Fellowship and received by June 4th. Crafters need to provide their own table, chairs and tent (if needed). All proceeds will benefit the great works of the Women's Fellowship- a Sisterhood.
