Windows 10 activate

In case you've built your own PC with graphics card and processor or have updated your computer for fast speed, you might want to install and activate Windows 10. Activation of the Windows 10 operating system can be done either by activating the product key or with a digital licence.

Steps for windows 10 activate using product key

1. To activate and installation of windows 10, enter product key
2. Press the window key from keyboard --> Go the settings option --> Update and security --> Activation
3. Click on change product key
4. Input the product key into the pop-up box
5. Click on next button then press activate button for windows 10 activate

Activate Windows 10 with a digital licence

1. To start installation process, choose "I don't have product key"
2. Login and setup window 10 with ms office account
   • The Windows 10 will be automatically activated at this point. In case you had made hardware changes, follow the next steps:
3. Press the Windows key, then go to Settings > Update and Security > Activation.
4. If Windows is not activated, search and press 'Troubleshoot'.
5. Select 'Activate Windows' in the new window and then Activate. Or, select 'I changed hardware on this device recently', if applicable.
6. If you get sign in prompts, follow them using Microsoft account linked to your digital licence.
7. Select the device you're using and check 'This is the device I'm using right now' next to it.
8. Press Activate for windows 10 activate.
   • Your digital licence should be there and your copy of Windows 10 will be activated.

How to activate Windows 10 using the Command Prompt?

• Go to Search, type cmd, and open the Command Prompt as Administrator.
• Type in the following command and press Enter: vbs -ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (of course, xxx stands for your product key)
• Wait for the process to finish.
• Restart your computer.
