Call For Papers

Aim & Scope

The RACS 2012 will provide an excellent forum for addressing research issues of concern within the applied computing area. The applied computing concentrates on solutions to complex problem in all areas of industry and sciences using advanced techniques in computer science. It involves programming, software engineering, graphics, databases, wireless networks, distributed systems, operating systems and so on.

Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas related to the applied computing. Topics will include, but not be limited, to the following areas:

- Computational Signal Processing

- Data Mining

- Distributed and Parallel Systems

- Embedded Systems

- Fault Tolerance and Reliability

All papers will be fully refereed and undergo a blind review process by at least three referees. All accepted papers will be published under the ACM proceeding and will be included in the ACM Digital Library. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in several International Journals as a special RACS 2012 section.

※Final camera ready papers(full paper) will not exceed 6 pages; 2 extra pages will be allowed at additional cost ($100 per page). For a poster paper (2 pages), 2 extra pages will be allowed at additional cost ($100 per page).

Special Workshop/Track Proposal

In conjunction with the RACS 2012, a number of special workshops and tracks will be organized.
Workshop/track proposals which should include "Title of the workshop/track", "Purpose of the
workshop/track", "Short bios of organizers", "A tentative list of TPC", and "A tentative website
address" are to be sent to the program chair ( by April 10, 2012.
