I am a doctoral student at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at University of California San Diego (UCSD). I am working with Prof. David Saintillan in the microscale flow modeling group.
Prior to coming to UCSD, I have obtained an M.S.(Engg). degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (Bangalore, India) and a B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal.
Here's my current CV
I am interested in understanding the phenomenon of pattern formation and collective motion in complex biological systems using analytical modelling and numerical tools. I was also involved in various experimental projects both long and short term that involved fabricating experimental setups and using advanced techniques. For more details, please refer to research experience page or CV.
Current research: Hydrodynamics and reorganization of interphase chromatin, active polymer dynamics.
Other research interests includes: Soft matter, collective motion in active and passive systems, granular flows & microfluidics.
